People generally prefer supermarket to shop/store. There are some major different between them. Supermarket is a large shop that sells food, drinks and goods used in the home. Shoppers have supermarket trolley, which is used for the carrying things. So choose what they want from the shelves then pay for them as they leave.

The second reason is you can know the price without any question of shopkeeper. The third reason is to have time to find and read expiration date, fat, fiber, calorie and etc.
